Are you willing to travel throughout Fife as part of the Minor Maintenance Team of Janitors? Undertaking minor maintenance, compliance checks, and associated documentation, repairs as required.
We currently have a temporary post to join our team on a Monday to Friday schedule between 7:30 am and 3:42 pm, with 1 hour for lunch.
* Post 1 – 36 hours per week, based at Bankhead, Glenrothes –This post is temporary for 1 year.
You will earn a competitive salary of £27,087.17 to £29,508.96 per year and have access to a range of benefits, including:

You will be required to work independently or as part of a team, covering tasks such as:
Undertaking DIY tasks limited by your skills, experience, available tools, and safety considerations.
Liaising with outside contractors directly or through property services staff, ensuring they have the necessary Public Liability Insurance and comply with health and safety legislation.
Carrying out prescribed procedures in emergencies such as fire, flooding, accidents, or damage, including coordination with relevant staff and contractors.
Responding promptly to problems and resolving issues.
A willingness to undertake additional training as needed.
The Person
Before appointment, you must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and join the relevant PVG scheme.
You should be able to provide a reliable and effective service, working alone or as part of a team.
An induction training day is required before starting in the role.
