Overview
SEMH Teaching Assistant – Primary School positions available in Chippenham. Are you passionate about significantly improving the life of a young learner with special educational needs? This role supports a child with an educational, health and care plan (EHCP) and targets/outcomes outlined by professionals.
Responsibilities
* Support the SEMH child with their EHCP targets, outcomes and strategies.
* Work closely with the class teacher and SEMHCO; observe and collaborate with speech and language therapists, educational psychologists, occupational therapists and teachers with SEMH specialisms.
* Be patient, compassionate and committed to the child's long-term development.
Qualifications/Experience
* Previous experience with working with children with Autism is admirable.
* Passion for working with Special Needs and Mental Health and for long-term support of a child.

* Full-Time 8:30am - 3:30pm
* Salary: £80 - £95 per day
