About the role

Location: Randox Science Park, Antrim.
Contract: Full-time, permanent.
Working hours: 8.40am to 5.20pm, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility.
Key responsibilities
1. Conduct testing for clinical research projects and trials.
2. Use Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) routinely.
3. Perform analytical procedures including manual screening and automated tests.
4. Prepare and handle samples and reagents.
5. Operate automated analytical systems and maintain records accurately.
6. Adhere to chain of custody procedures.
7. Maintain and calibrate analytical instruments.
8. Prepare specimens for transportation, ensuring stability.
9. Monitor laboratory and equipment temperatures.
10. Manage stock and troubleshoot technical issues.
11. Complete quality control checks and participate in audits.
12. Prepare data reports and perform data checks for clinical studies.
Candidate requirements
Essential
* Bachelor's degree in Life Science or Chemistry.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
* Computer literate.
Desirable
* Masters in Biomedical Science.
* Previous laboratory and clinical trial experience.
* Knowledge of quality systems and health & safety regulations.
