We are seeking a Client Services Coordinator to join our friendly Out of Hours team at the Royal Veterinary College. The role involves working approximately 20 hours per week on a rolling three-week rota, within our opening hours of 6pm to Midnight from Monday to Friday, and two out of three weekends, with shifts between 8am and Midnight. The position is based at the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals and involves providing first-class, customer-focused service to hospital clients, veterinary surgeons, and visitors, acting as a vital link during emotionally sensitive times. The Out of Hours team is essential for supporting the seamless operation of our 24/7 service, ensuring continuity for the administration, accounts, and reception teams.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in a busy front-of-house environment, delivering comprehensive care and customer service to patients, clients, and the veterinary community. You will work alongside RVC clinical teams and students, providing friendly and professional service.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality customer service, sharing knowledge with colleagues and students, and have experience in reception work within a busy, client-focused environment. An enthusiastic and personable approach to client and patient care is essential. CPD is encouraged and funded.
