Education Advisory Service Manager – LB Richmond upon Thames & LB Wandsworth
Location: Wandsworth, London
Salary: £70,152 – £85,551 per annum
Employment type: Permanent, Part‑time (28.8 hours)
Hybrid working: Time at Wandsworth Town Hall and schools, with remote working possible.
About the Role
As the Education Advisory Service Manager you will be responsible for implementing the school improvement framework within Wandsworth, building effective partnerships with schools and supporting the strategic implementation of the local school improvement policies. You will also monitor inspection outcomes and overall performance, and serve as the strategic lead for primary assessment and moderation.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and partnership‑building skills.
* Past experience in school leadership and a depth of knowledge about school practice.
* Substantial experience leading improvements, ideally including commissioning and/or brokering.
* The ability to provide high levels of support and challenge to schools.
