Overview
An established business based in Ramsbottom is looking for a Client Services Administrator with drive and determination, a key eye for detail, a willingness to learn and a “can do” attitude. Salary up to £28,000 per annum with a range of benefits.
Role details: 9:00-17:30 Monday-Thursday and 09:00-17:00 on a Friday, 1 hour lunch. Flexible working will be considered.
Benefits
* Company death in service scheme on completion of probationary period (4 x basic salary).
* 3% Employer Pension Contribution after 3 months with a 5% gross contribution required by the employee.
* Annual holiday entitlement in the calendar year is 25 days, with additional tiering on length of service. Includes reserve of 3 days per year during Christmas and New Year when the company shuts down.
Responsibilities
* Providing pre- and post-sales administration support to Paraplanners/Advisers, including preparation of Engagement Letters, Letters of Authority/Change of Agency Letters, downloading of Fact Find for completion, obtaining Provider Application Forms, setting up virtual files for new clients, obtaining valuations of existing policies, obtaining quotes, completing meeting follow ups, completing periodic suitability assessments where policies are assessed as suitable.
* Providing up-to-date valuations to Paraplanners/Advisers in respect of existing clients.
* Providing relevant support information regarding existing clients to Adviser prior to meeting with the client.
* Assisting other team members in maintaining an accurate back-office system and other records.
* Proactively enhancing industry and company knowledge through external and internal sources. Participating in appropriate company and departmental training, competence and development initiatives.
* Answering the telephone and dealing with initial telephone enquiries.
* Answering the intercom to greet visitors.
Requirements
* The ability to produce all written communications/correspondence to a high standard and high level of accuracy. Accurate grammar is vital for maintaining a professional image and clear communication.
* The ability to produce all documentation within a strict ethical and compliance framework under guidance from the internal compliance team and internal policy and procedures.
* Experience managing your own workload, multitasking and prioritising effectively, and providing updates to team members.
* Proficient IT skills – full competence with Microsoft applications.
* A commitment to continuous personal development and maintaining supporting records.
* An understanding of the role within the team and how it impacts others. Endeavour to support colleagues and collaborate to achieve results.
