We have a fantastic opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join the team at HMP Wakefield, a Category A male prison in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
This is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients and delivering outstanding care. The role offers excellent developmental opportunities and a great environment to build on your experience and gain new skills.
This role is based within our Inpatients Unit, which has a capacity of 14 beds, and involves providing physical care, social care, end-of-life care, palliative care, and more.

Hours: This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, working various shifts between Monday and Sunday. Shifts are 12 hours, from 7am to 7:15pm or 7pm to 7:15am. The role involves working nights, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota basis, approximately 2 weekends per month.
Salary: The position is full-time, with an annual salary of up to £28,690, depending on experience.
