Location: Buttershaw / Hybrid Working (2 days office a week - Bradford)
Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Demand Analyst to join the Water Service Delivery/Water Strategy Planning & Investment team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

Water Service Delivery/Water Strategy Planning & Investment team are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.
Reporting to the Water Efficiency Manager, the Demand Analyst is a crucial role responsible for providing key analytical and reporting functions to meet Yorkshire Water's Performance Commitments for Per Capita Consumption (PCC) and Business Demand Reduction (NHH). The Demand Analyst maintains the demand platform in the Netbase software system, resolves data issues, and offers technical support. They deliver projects to enhance PCC and Business Demand reduction reporting, create management information dashboards, and provide performance insights to stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves aligning demand forecasts with water resource planning and tariff development for future Asset Management Periods (AMPs).
Where you fit in:
As our Demand Analyst you will
* Configure demand components in Netbase and integrate AMI data for water efficiency activities.
* Competently use the Netbase Application, deliver training, and support end users.
* Work with teams in Water Efficiency, Leakage, Water Service Delivery, TEC, and Smart to improve demand reporting and processes.
* Identify and deliver improvements in the water balance calculation to ensure accurate PCC and NHH outputs.
* Build relationships with external stakeholders for data collaboration and consultancy projects.
* Collaborate with smart metering data leads to integrate data into business processes for water efficiency programs.
* Calculate and compare the benefits of water efficiency initiatives against forecasts, and adjust forecasts based on real-time data.
* Create and embed management information dashboards to support PCC and NHH Demand Reduction performance.
* Maintain PCC and NHH data accuracy, identify anomalies, and develop processes to mitigate issues.
* Represent the company in APR audits with Ofwat, ensuring compliance with reporting guidelines.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
* Extensive experience in compiling and interpreting data from various sources.
* Understanding of the water distribution network and the calculation of PCC and NHH.
* Familiarity with Yorkshire Water's systems including SAP, AI2, ROD2/SPOT, Odyssey, and YorBill.
* Ability to focus on specific activities while understanding the broader impact on service delivery.
* Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and customers.
* Ability to meet stringent timescales and multi-task as required.
* Ability to cope under pressure and remain calm and rational.
* Experience with Halma Dataview and Datagate.
* HND level or relevant experience in an analytical role.
