Permanent Starting date: as soon as possible HLC Primary is committed to providing all children with a high-quality education and we are looking to appoint a passionate and knowledgeable Safeguarding and Family Support Advisor to support and work with our children and their families. You would be a role model to our students who have a barrier to their learning whilst ensuring our school systems continue to be robust in accurately recording and documenting all cases of Child Protection and Safeguarding. The successful candidate will work directly with the children in need and their families in the community to promote, strengthen and develop the potential of the parents/carers. This will include working with and supporting families with a range of issues including domestic arrangements, behaviour, housing and finances. We have strong links with our parents, and the role is to build on this to co-ordinate and deliver support in partnership with key services. To be efficient with IT, work as part of a team and on their own initiative, whilst having a clear understanding of confidentiality to safeguard all children. The successful candidate will maintain high quality support for our pupils it is necessary to have skills to communicate effectively, liaise with colleagues in the local authority, external agencies and school partners to support strategic development and share good practice.
