Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36.5 hours per week (office-based)
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 per annum
Holiday: 28 days including Bank Holidays, plus 5 wellbeing days per annum upon successful completion of probation

The role
The Sales Account Administrator provides efficient and accurate administrative support to the Account Manager. This role ensures sales quotations, purchase orders, and customer communications are processed correctly and promptly, playing a key role in maintaining high service standards and supporting a smooth and effective sales operation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Prepare and process accurate sales quotations in line with company pricing and margin requirements.
· Accurately input purchase orders onto the internal system, ensuring correct product, pricing, and delivery details.
· Carry out thorough checks to ensure orders are complete and aligned with customer requirements.
· Monitor orders through to completion, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.
· Investigate and resolve order-related queries in collaboration with relevant departments.
Customer & Account Support
· Act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries via email and telephone.
· Respond to queries in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
· Communicate customer updates clearly and accurately to the Account Manager and internal teams.
· Build and maintain positive working relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Product Sourcing & Internal Coordination
· Source non-stock items when required.
· Obtain supplier pricing and availability information and liaise with the Purchasing team accordingly.
· Work closely with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Finance teams to ensure seamless order processing.
Systems & Data Management
· Use internal systems to input, manage, and retrieve sales and order information.
· Quickly learn and confidently navigate in-house software.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date system records.
Organisation & Performance
· Manage workload effectively, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
· Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
· Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales administration processes.
Person Specification (Key Attributes)
· Previous experience in a sales administration or sales support role.
· Confident and professional communicator via telephone, email, and face-to-face with internal teams.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
· Able to learn new systems quickly and work confidently with in-house software.
· Well organised, self-motivated, and able to manage workload independently.
· Ability to build productive working relationships across departments and with customers.
