Job Title: Psychotherapist
Hours: Full Time, Term Time only across 3 SEN Schools
Salary: £(Apply online only)
Location: SEN Schools in Wigan, Rochdale and Oldham
Background: Will consider candidates with an Art, Play, Dance, Drama and Music therapy background.
Responsibilities
* Manage your own caseload of schools to provide high levels of support and consultation for operational colleagues
* Provide therapeutic advice and guidance to teams to enable them to support young people throughout their journey with Horizon
* Be responsible for assessments, goal setting and recommendations for therapeutic support for your own caseload
* Develop, write and regularly review/update therapeutic goals for children and young people in education
* Develop and contribute to the delivery of therapeutic and psychological training to all staff in the organisation as part of the Therapeutic Academy
* Benefit from regular supervision and CPD activities
* Benefit from opportunities to participate in service development activities across the Horizon Group
Qualifications
* HCPC registered
* BACP, BABCP, UKCP accredited
* BSc/MSc registered Art/Music/Play Therapist or Psychotherapist (nearly qualified acceptable)
* Experience of working with Children and Young People or relevant demonstrable transferable skills
* A desire to support services through embedding therapeutic practice
* Experience of teaching, training and/or supervision
* Well-developed communication skills, oral and written
* Ability to work autonomously with support from individual and peer supervision
* Ability to role model behaviours and attitudes in line with organisational values
* Sound understanding of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Teams and SharePoint
* Full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle
