Are you a compassionate, driven, and skilled educator with a passion for transforming the lives of children with complex needs? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our specialist team; a nurturing and inclusive school committed to empowering every child to reach their full potential.
About the school
This fantastic school provides a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for children with a wide range of complex needs, including autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, speech and language and attachment and trauma. Each child has an EHCP.
The school has a well-established in-house Intervention Team, including therapists, rebound therapy, behaviour specialists, and learning mentors who work closely with teaching staff to ensure every learner receives the personalised support they need to thrive. Morag the therapy dog brings calmness on site to children with anxiety.
The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
* Deliver creative, individualised lessons tailored to a range of learning styles and developmental levels.
* Create a classroom culture that promotes safety, respect, and a love of learning.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement EHCP targets and intervention plans.
* Monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet pupils’ evolving needs.
* Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and professionals.
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
* Is a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with experience or a strong interest in working with pupils with complex SEN.
* Has a deep understanding of inclusive education and child-centred approaches.
* Is resilient, reflective, and committed to continuous professional development.
* Thrives in a collaborative team environment and brings creativity to the classroom.
