We are looking for a Network Engineer that brings a methodical and dedicated approach to R&D, problem solving, and are able to act quickly in assessing a situation. We want you to relish in the provision of a first class service to our customers and be able to communicate at all levels to ensure understanding. Either working alone or part of the team, we want you to come up with solutions that ensure business continuity or can add substance to new or on-going projects or products.
Technical Skills :
In depth knowledge of TCP/IP networks, IP Protocols and exposure to all layers of the OSI model.
Strong experience of routing protocols, tunneling protocols and
Experience of working with complex Networks, following best practices and strict security guidelines
Maintain performance of networks using appropriate Network Monitoring systems or vendor tools
Previous demonstrable management of maintaining wide area networks.
In-Depth Networking experience including configuring multiple vendor firewalls, enterprise routers and datacentre switches.
Network configuration and storage configurations for HPC
Experience of working with common operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux/RHEL.
Server hardware/blade enclosure configuration experience
Exposure to Storage Area Networks, Virtualization products such as VMWare ESXi and VDI solutions with accelerated storage.
Necessary Experience/Qualifications Specification:
Certified to a Cisco CCNA or CCNP Datacentre standard, with at least 6 years experience working in complex network environments.
Desirable:
Experience of EVPN-VXLAN frameworks
Previous exposure to Load Balancing.
