Senior Early Years Educator (Nursery Room Leader)
Location: 1 Park Rd, Birstall, Leicester LE4 3AX
Hours: Full Time, 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday or 40 hours over 4 days
Salary: Up to £13.75 per hour depending on experience and qualifications to be discussed

About You
You are a Level 2 or above qualified, Senior Leader / Senior Practitioner/ Room Leader or similar who thrives on leading by example, inspiring others to be the best that they can be. You love supporting and encouraging the natural curiosity and excitement of young children, and motivating others to do the same. You have a natural, nurturing openness, a warm and positive outlook, and care about learning and education standards in the UK.
Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day, you will deliver care to the children whilst also supervising your team.
You will identify areas for improvement in learning and teaching techniques and create more stimulating experiences and environments. You will embrace inclusivity to ensure the individual needs of all within your room are met.
You will be responsible for ensuring all record‑keeping requirements are completed, as well as conducting your team appraisals. As the Senior Early Years Educator (Nursery Room Leader) you will work in partnership with other Room Leads and the management team to ensure the successful running of the nursery.
Requirements
* A full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification within early years
* Proven experience working as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner)
* Demonstrable leadership experience within Early Years
* Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
* Excellent communication skills with both children and adults
