Our client, a purpose-led food company, is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their team in Kingston upon Thames. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage and grow key accounts within a business that values sustainability, wellbeing, and its people.
National Account Manager Position Overview:
As an Account Manager, you will be central to the company's commercial success. You will take full ownership of a portfolio of wholesale, grocery, and online customers. Your role involves driving growth, launching new products, and building strong commercial relationships, directly contributing to the company's mission to improve the food industry.
National Account Manager Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow your customer portfolio across key channels.
* Take full P&L responsibility for your accounts.
* Negotiate trade terms, pricing, and promotional plans.
* Increase product distribution and secure new listings.
* Launch new products and innovations into the market.
* Develop new business in the UK and key EU markets.
* Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
* Report on commercial performance to the leadership team.
* Lead annual planning, budgeting, and promotional forecasting.
National Account Manager Requirements:
* Proven sales experience in the FMCG or Food & Drink sector.
* Experience managing wholesale, grocery, or online channels.
* Demonstrated success with full P&L or budget ownership.
* A strong commercial and analytical mindset with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* A proactive, self-motivated, and results-focused approach.
* A passion for food, sustainability, and purpose-driven brands.
