Job description

This is a varied and exciting role for an experienced, intelligent and enthusiastic individual looking to drive forward the design and delivery of secure capabilities that will transform the Rosa Service.
Working for Service Operations in the Change Management team you will lead the Change Management function. Owning the end to end lifecycle to deliver technology and Service changes in an ITIL aligned IT service organisation.
In this role you will be responsible for:
* Leading a small team to deliver the Change Management function.
* Development of the Change Management function though the creation and continual service improvement of policy, process, knowledge articles and the Change Request tool set.
* Ensure the prompt and correct use of the Change Management practices for RSO:
* Ensuring change management is seen as the central and accepted point of contact for changes, to ensure no clashes of planned work across the RSO portfolio
* Report on service in line with SLAs/OLAs and KPI.
* Evaluate and validate the change for the appropriate category, level of content, quality, Impact and Risk Assessment and work with Change Requestors to ensure essential and supporting information is captured in the Change record including test artifacts
* Ensuring the correct Change process and Authority approves the change.
* Chair and minute decision and actions at the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and Technical CAB
* Approve Change Request (e.g Standard and Normal) defined by the process.
* Ensure a Change Schedule (or Forward Schedule of Change) is available
* After implementation, evaluate the change / release for any lessons learned, which may require a post implementation review and close the change request
* Provide advice, guidance, training and inducting staff in change management practices.
Person specification
Essential:
* Knowledge and demonstrable experience working in a Change Management/Enablement function
* Results oriented with energy and passion to achieve and exceed stretching objectives and to deliver within tight timescales
* Strong communicator skills, written and verbal communication.
* ITIL4 or 3 Foundation Qualification.
Desirable:
* Knowledge and experience of working and ITSM tool like Jira and Confluence.
* Knowledge and experience of project methodologies, i.e. Agile, DevOps and traditional waterfall.
