About the Company
Our client has an excellent track record in delivering planning applications for projects ranging from individual dwellings to large multifunctional schemes. They are looking for a Senior/Principal Planner to join their team and contribute to their ambitious growth plans.

The Role
You will be a vital part of the planning division, handling all aspects of the planning process, from initial site assessments to application submissions and appeal work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading project management and coordination
* Mentoring junior team members
* Promoting sites for residential and commercial developments through the local plan process
* Preparing and coordinating planning applications and supporting statements
* Managing fee proposals and project budgets
* Engaging with technical specialists, clients, and local authorities
* Assessing site potential for various developments, identifying opportunities and constraints

Minimum Requirements:
* RTPI Accredited Degree
* MRTPI Qualification
* Experience in the private sector of Town Planning
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full driving license and own vehicle
* Experience in the environmental or renewable energy sectors
* Experience in both public and private sectors
