Job Title: QTS English and Maths Tutor (Liverpool)Location: LiverpoolPay Rate: £25 per hour (starting rate)Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | 20 hours per weekStart Date: March 2026
Key Responsibilities:* Deliver tailored, one-to-one GCSE Maths and English lessons to suit each student's learning style.* Adapt lesson content and pace to build student confidence in both subjects.* Provide clear feedback to parents/carers and colleagues to track progress.* Create a positive, supportive learning environment that encourages growth.* Help students with revision strategies and exam techniques to ensure they are well-prepared.
Essential Requirements:* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).* Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring English and/or Maths, ideally at GCSE level.* Right to work in the UK.* Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check.* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and families.
Desirable Qualifications:* Experience with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.* Experience in tutoring both English and Maths at GCSE level.
