What Youll Be Doing
As an
Assembly Operative, youll play a hands-on role in manufacturing life-saving aerospace technology. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will:
Fabricate and assemble seat pan chassis and parachute container assemblies.
Perform precision bench fitting and build of detailed components.
Conduct heat treatment (annealing and age hardening) of materials to exact specifications.
Carry out injection moulding, bonding, packing, and sealing of key assemblies.
Fit aerospace hardware using a variety of fasteners, adhesives, and Velcro.
Utilise vacuum forming and Royalite sheet techniques to create advanced assemblies.
Inspect and test all products to meet stringent aerospace tolerances and standards.
Youll be working with state-of-the-art materials, contributing to a legacy of British engineering excellence that truly makes a difference.
Skills and Experience Were Looking For
Proven assembly or fitting experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Skilled in riveting techniques and use of adhesives.
Confident using a variety of assembly/fitting tools and gauges.
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong inspection and quality control awareness.
Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and excellent concentration.
