About the Role As Project Manager, the individual will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of fit-out and refurbishment schemes within central London, working across diverse sectors (e.g., workplaces, creative studios, educational or wellbeing spaces). Drawing on a background in Cat A/B fit-outs, hybrid works, or Design & Build frameworks, they will: * Lead project planning, budgets, and programmes to meet timelines and commercial targets. * Coordinate cross-disciplinary teams—designers, contractors, subcontractors, and clients—from inception to completion. * Ensure exceptional quality, safety compliance, and minimal business disruption, particularly for in-occupation projects. * Identify and manage risks (e.g., Party Wall issues, rights of light, stakeholder constraints), and deliver proactive mitigation strategies. * Maintain transparent, structured communication with all parties, presenting regular performance reports. Requirements: * Proven experience managing commercial fit-out or refurbishment projects, ideally within London, with values typically up to £5 million. * Strong background in Cat A/B fit-outs, hybrid workspace projects, or Design & Build schemes. * Solid understanding of construction processes, building regulations, and health & safety compliance, including in-occupation works. * Exceptional planning, budgeting, and programme management skills, with the ability to track progress and resolve issues proactively. * Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams, including designers, contractors, and subcontractors. * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of maintaining clear, professional relationships at all levels. * Ability to identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and manage complex challenges such as Party Wall matters or restricted access sites. * Detail-oriented, organised, and solutions-focused, with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes. * Professional qualification or equivalent experience in construction/project management is desirable (e.g., RICS, CIOB, or equivalent). * Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite
