We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Duties
* Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support individuals with mobility and physical activities as needed.
* Help with the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
* Maintain accurate care plans and documentation to track patient progress and needs.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
* Drive patients to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
* Participate in training sessions and meetings to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care.
* Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the care environment.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting, such as a care home or home care environment, is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation.
* Ability to follow care plans accurately while being attentive to the individual needs of each patient.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting patients when necessary.
