Drinks Commercial Analyst
Location: Dunstable, hybrid working, minimum 3 days per week in the office.

Our Restaurants Product and Brand team is recruiting a Drinks Commercial Analyst to shape our future drinks strategy. You will develop a robust pricing and ranging strategy across 1,200 hotels and branded restaurants, supporting our growth in Food and Beverage.
Reporting to the Bar Platform and Development Manager, you will collaborate with commercial, finance, marketing, and product development teams to analyze data, monitor trends, and track performance, ensuring our product offerings meet customer needs.

What you’ll do:
You will be responsible for implementing and evolving our commercial drinks strategy through:
* Providing insights into Whitbread’s drink pricing position in the market, identifying strengths and weaknesses locally and nationally, and staying updated on industry trends and innovations.
* Implementing, measuring, and optimizing drinks pricing strategies to meet market position and sales targets while delivering value to guests.
* Tracking campaign, promotion, and trial success, providing recommendations, monitoring risks, and measuring KPIs.
* Providing analysis for range and menu decisions to ensure they meet KPIs and objectives.
* Collaborating with the Drinks Implementation team to analyze data and insights, developing effective merchandising strategies to drive growth.
What we need:
* Experience in a similar analyst role within the drinks industry or merchandising, pricing, and range planning in retail, with strong knowledge of commercial data.
* Excellent analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to interpret multiple data sources and make informed recommendations.
* Strong communication skills to engage and influence internal stakeholders.
* Adaptability and flexibility to manage workload and respond to changing priorities.
* A self-motivated individual eager to make a difference, capable of challenging and providing objective recommendations.
