About the Role
As Resort General Manager, you will be responsible for the full leadership and operational oversight of the resort. You will lead multi-functional teams across accommodation, spa & leisure, F&B, events, and guest services, ensuring smooth coordination, financial control, and a consistently outstanding guest experience.
You will report directly to the Managing Director and collaborate with sales, revenue, and marketing teams to align strategies and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations of the resort, ensuring a seamless and high-quality guest journey.
* Lead and support departmental heads to meet performance, service, and profitability goals.
* Drive commercial success through cost controls, revenue generation, and service excellence.
* Monitor financial performance and deliver on revenue, profit, and occupancy targets.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, licensing, and brand standards.
* Actively participate in the strategic planning of the resorts development and service innovation.
* Represent the resort to guests, stakeholders, and the wider community.
* Cultivate a positive and motivated working culture focused on accountability and growth.
* Play an active role in driving corporate and direct business
What Were Looking For
* Proven experience as a General Manager or Resort Manager in a 4- or 5-star hotel/resort environment.
* Strong leadership, team development, and performance management skills.
* Solid financial acumen with the ability to analyse data and drive KPIs.
* Deep understanding of customer experience delivery across leisure and event sectors.
* Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills.
* Flexible, hands-on, and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience working with branded hotel standards (Radisson experience a plus).
