Job Title: Administrator – Supply Chain & Purchasing Support
Location: Accrington Office Hours: 9:00am – 3:00pm, Monday to Friday ( hours per week, 30-minute lunch) Salary:petitive (DOE) Benefits:
1. 30 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays), increasing by 1 day per year of service up to 34
2. 3% employer pension contribution

About the RoleWe are recruiting on behalf of our client for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Administrator to join their team in Accrington. This is a varied position providing essential support across Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, and Fleet Management. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and accurate record-keeping across multiple departments.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain Administration
3. Assess and process PQQs, saving and filing documents accurately
4. Chase insurances andpliance documentation from suppliers
5. Liaise with Contract Managers, Estimators, QSs, and Site Managers to ensure forms arepleted and systems updated
6. Maintain and link spreadsheets with Eque and Evaluate systems
Purchasing Administration
7. Raise purchase orders on Eque
8. Manage petty cash transactions
9. Procure and distribute PPE, workwear, first aid supplies, welfare items, and stationery
10. Maintain records of external hires and cross-check with site requirements

Fleet Administration
11. Update vehicle records and fleet tracking systems
12. Administer fuel cards, MOT, and service records
13. Liaise with garages for bookings and manage vehicle check returns
Mill/Plant Administration
14. Maintain service records and book services, appointments, and breakdowns
15. Update Trackunit and Asset Panda systems
16. Monitor and update stock records

Logistics Support
17. Manage logistics calendar and job sheets

Aftersales Support
18. Log defects and manage aftersales email inbox
19. Liaise with relevant personnel to arrange site visits

General Administration
20. Timesheet checking and travel time verification
21. Provide accounts and admin support during peak periods and holiday cover

What We’re Looking For
22. Previous experience in administration within supply chain, purchasing, or logistics
23. Strong organisational and time-management skills
24. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
25. Confidentmunicator with the ability to liaise across multiple teams
26. Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Eque or similar systems is desirable
27. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
