Job Description
The purpose of this role is to help ISS become the world’s greatest service organisation by providing service performance facilitating our customers’ purpose through people empowerment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, repairs, and testing of building systems and equipment.
- Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and install electrical and mechanical systems in line with regulations and manufacturer instructions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, risk assessments, and permits to work.
- Support contractor management, including monitoring and ensuring quality workmanship.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time allocation.
- Suggest improvements to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Significant experience in building services maintenance, including fault finding, repair, installation, and inspection/testing.
- Experience in facilities management or commercial property maintenance.
- Knowledge and practical application of Health & Safety procedures.
- 18th Edition IEE Regulations (essential).
- Experience with air conditioning systems and unvented hot water systems (desirable).
- The ability to problem solve, assess situations and deliver effective solutions.
- Background in both reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
