Overview
We are seeking a detail-focused HR Data and Governance Coordinator to join our People Services team. This role is key to ensuring the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of HR data and reports that inform decision-making across the organisation. You will analyse, validate, and present data, support statutory returns, and produce clear, insightful reports for senior leaders and stakeholders. Working closely with the HR Quality & Governance Lead, you will help develop policy and governance, ensuring HR policies and processes are well-documented, compliant, and aligned with organisational standards. The role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt technical information for different audiences. In return, you’ll be part of a supportive team committed to improvement, collaboration, and delivering high standards across HR services.
Responsibilities
* Extract, analyse, and validate HR data from a range of systems to provide accurate and timely reports, including routine and ad hoc performance reports and statutory returns.

* Support the HR Quality & Governance Lead in streamlining reporting processes and enhancing data visualisation using tools such as Power BI.
* Provide guidance to colleagues on data interpretation, ensuring consistency, and promoting best practice in data management across the People Services directorate.
* Govern HR policies and processes by coordinating policy reviews, supporting Policy Leads to meet required standards, and tracking progress through approval and ratification processes.
* Liaise with key stakeholders, including union representatives, to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with statutory and organisational requirements.
