Job Description
3. Oversee project budgets and prepare financial reports.
4. Monitor project costs and ensure accurate allocation of expenses.
5. Collaborate with project managers to forecast financial outcomes.
6. Analyse and report on project performance to stakeholders.
7. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
8. Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
9. Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
10. Assist in the preparation of audits and financial reviews.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Project Accountant should have:
11. Proven experience in the industrial and manufacturing industry.
12. A strong background in project accounting and financial management.
13. Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
14. A recognised qualification in accounting or finance, eg, ICAS, CIMA or ACCA
15. Prior experience with implementing IFRS 16
16. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
17. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
18. The ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
