About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Manager / First Line Manager to support our Rotating Day Shift at Stafford (ST16 1GY). Shift Pattern: Rotating Days – 06:00‑14:00 / 14:00‑22:00.
How will you contribute?
* Responsibility for all issues relating to Health & Safety and the Environment during shift
* Support colleagues through excellent communication and active leadership
* Ensure coordination and handover management between shifts
* Translate, analyse and deliver customer needs through effective operations
* Ensure resource availability and skilled trained resource
* Deliver consistent service levels seeking to exceed customer expectations
* Effective leadership, management and communication with all warehouse departments
* Responsible for ensuring high levels of excellence in culture and behaviours
* Display a ‘can do’ attitude to enhance motivation of team
* Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
* Engage with and treat employees with respect and promote diversity
* Recognise and proactively manage continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure all internal / external KPI’s are achieved and regularly reviewed.

* Operational Experience
* Excellent organisational/time management skills
* People Management including experience of disciplinary investigations and other people processes
* Good analytical and numerical skills
* Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills
* Excellent communicator (verbal & written)
* Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
* Team Development
* Ability to work without direct supervision
* Use of Microsoft Packages including Excel and Word
* Work within a team and able to interact at all levels.
