We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join one of our schools in Barnsley.This primary school in Barnsley is known for itsmitment to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for children aged 3 to 11. Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stage 2.
2. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help each child achieve their full potential.
3. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and encourages student participation.
4. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support the holistic development of students.
5. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
6. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
7. Undertake additional duties as required, including organising and supervising extracurricular activities and school events.
The ideal candidate will:
8. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
9. Have experience teaching Key Stage 2 students, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
10. Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
11. Bemitted to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
12. Possess strongmunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
13. Be flexible, adaptable, and willing to take on new challenges.
