The role of Multi-Trade Operativewill include:
1. Carrying out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications
2. Installing new kitchens, bathrooms, wet rooms, windows, doors and fencing
3. Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and restocking these when needed
4. Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery, by resolving problems or setting into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
5. Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer
Skills and experiences:
6. To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry). As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted
7. FENSA trained and experience with UPVC windows and doors
8. Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation
9. Skills in some of the following disciplines – Kitchen and bathroom insulation, window fitting
10. Excellent customer service and communication skills
11. Ability to prioritise workloads, work to deadlines and plan ahead
12. This role will involve driving the business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
