Job purpose: As a Sales Advisor, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist shoppers with product inquiries, and help drive sales in a retail environment. You will ensure that the store is well-stocked, organised, and visually appealing. Additionally, you will handle transactions, manage customer issues, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This role is for our LEGO store at Gatwick Airport. Contract: 15 hours per week, across 2 days Benefits: Simplyhealth cash plan, Retail Trust, life insurance, on-site parking and up to 25% in-store discounts Key responsibilities: - Greet customers and offer assistance with product selection. - Provide detailed product information and recommendations based on customer needs. - Assist with stock management, including restocking shelves and organizing displays. - Handle customer transactions, including cash, credit, and returns. - Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently. - Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to store goals. - Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the sales floor. - Stay updated on product knowledge, store promotions, and policies. Qualifications: - Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes. - Basic math skills for handling transactions. - Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Accessing the airport: A five-year working and personal reference, along with a Criminal Reference Check, will be required for this role as the store is airside in the departures lounge.
