What you will do:
1. Carry out the Occupational Therapy process in partnership with service users and carers, facilitating choice, empowerment, and promoting independence.
2. Conduct assessments of need and evaluations of risk in partnership with service users and carers.
3. Implement risk assessments related to moving and handling tasks, ensuring service user safety and dignity.
4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored therapy plans.
5. Document and maintain thorough records of each service user’s progress and therapy outcomes.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
* You must have a degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
* You should have recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
* Experience with the NHS is essential.
* Registered with the HCPC is required to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the UK.
