Job Title: Electrical Supervisor
Location: Lincoln
Employment Type: Temporary (Agency Contract)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Over 12 Months
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee the electrical installation and fit-out of accommodation units on behalf of a reputable contractor. This role is agency-based and ideal for a proactive individual with strong leadership skills and a solid background in electrical systems within construction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities on-site.
* Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with current regulations (e.g., BS7671) and health & safety standards.
* Liaise with site managers, contractors, and agency representatives to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Monitor progress and quality of electrical works, ensuring deadlines are met.
* Conduct inspections and testing of installations, ensuring compliance and certification.
* Manage and support electricians and subcontractors on-site.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
* Report daily progress and escalate any concerns to the project manager or agency contact.
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
* SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred).
* ECS/CSCS card.
* Proven experience in supervising electrical works on construction or fit-out projects.
* Strong understanding of temporary accommodation electrical systems (e.g., modular units, cabins).
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
