About the Role
Seeking a high-performing and highly motivated Business Development Manager to spearhead growth across the Pharma, Life Sciences, and Biotech sectors. This is a senior, strategically important role focused on building meaningful relationships, identifying high-value opportunities, and shaping major cleanroom projects.
This role is suited to a commercially sharp, self-starting individual with a proven ability to lead sales conversations and secure complex capital projects.
What Youll Be Doing
New Business Generation : Proactively develop and close new business opportunities within Pharma, Life Sciences, and Biotech, with a focus on capital project delivery.
Thought Leadership / Industry Engagement Presentations, Workshops, Speaking at Conferences etc. Educating industry about our USPs and unique solutions.
Relationship Building : Engage early with senior stakeholders, consultants, and influencers.
Sector Presence : Represent the business across industry events, networks, and client meetings, helping to shape our presence and reputation in specialist sectors.
Opportunity Leadership : Take ownership of opportunities from identification through to deal closure, working closely with our internal sales and marketing teams to craft compelling proposals.
Collaboration & Insight : Work in tandem with senior leadership, contributing valuable market insights and helping refine our offer through commercial intelligence.
Pipeline Ownership : Build and manage a healthy, focused sales pipeline aligned to strategic sector opportunities.
What Youll Bring
A strong track record in winning high-value capital projects (ideally £1m+), within cleanrooms, technical construction, or critical environment infrastructure .
Demonstrated experience in senior business development roles within Pharma, Life Sciences, or Biotech sectors.
The ability to develop deep trust and long-term relationships with senior technical and commercial stakeholders.
A self-starting, tenacious attitude combined with excellent commercial instincts and polished communication skills.
A consultative sales style and a genuine interest in solving complex client challenges.
