Role Overview: As a Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, fault-finding, and maintenance of electronic security systems across a range of customer sites. You will be a key part of the regional service team, ensuring systems remain fully operational, compliant, and customer expectations are exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
Service, repair and maintain CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control and Integrated Security Systems
Respond to reactive service calls and diagnose faults efficiently
Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits
Provide technical support and advice to customers on-site
Ensure all work is carried out to NSI and manufacturer standards
Accurately complete service documentation and reports
Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota (with additional pay) Requirements:
Previous experience servicing and maintaining electronic security systems
Good working knowledge of Intruder, CCTV (analogue and IP), and Access Control systems
Familiarity with leading security brands such as Texecom, Hikvision, Paxton, Galaxy, etc.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Full UK driving licence
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Relevant industry certifications (advantageous)
