Overview
Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the South West area of the UK. The role will conduct service, repair and/or installation of products or IT solutions at customer sites, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts. Diagnoses system failures and determines most cost-effective solution.
Responsibilities
* Provide Technical Customer support, on-site assistance to our customers.
* Escalates complex issues to greater level of technical support.
* Responds to customer support calls within an assigned territory.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferable or Biotech Technical/Electronic Secondary School Diploma; proficient English is mandatory
* Open to travel; driving license is mandatory
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work autonomously, being a team player as well
* Experience with Salesforce will be beneficial
