The role of Senior Care and Support Assistant will include:
* Leading a team of Care and Support Assistants and ensuring that customers are being supported in the best way possible
* Providing personal care and encouraging customers to maximise their independence and personal potential, by building confidence, resilience and self-esteem
* Promoting safe practices and undertaking risk assessments as well as managing and implementing safeguarding principles to ensure the health, safety and security of our customers
* Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers

Requirements for the role include:
* Previous experience supervising staff is desirable
* Recent experience of working in a similar role with vulnerable people is necessary
* NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards is essential
* Personalised approach to care with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to form positive relationships with people from varied backgrounds
* Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong "can-do" attitude
* Strong organisational skills as well as functional literacy and numeracy
