About Us

Carebridge Healthcare Limited is a specialised mental health support service for young people 16+ in semi-independent living. We focus on empowering young people to overcome challenges, develop life skills, and transition into adulthood with confidence. Our approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, safeguarding excellence, and the provision of holistic, person-centred support.

The Role

We are looking for LIVE-IN Innovative Support Workers to join our dynamic team. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people by offering tailored mental health support, life skills training, and fostering a positive transition into adulthood. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment where young people feel empowered to thrive.

Additionally, there is significant potential for career progression, with opportunities to upskill into roles such as Deputy Registered Manager.

Key Responsibilities

* Mental Health Support: Provide specialised care tailored to the mental health needs of young people, promoting resilience and emotional well-being.
* Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and welfare of all residents, maintaining strict adherence to safeguarding policies and procedures.
* Life Skills Development: Help young people develop essential skills, such as budgeting, cooking, and tenancy management, fostering their independence.
* Educational and Career Support: Encourage and support young people to pursue education, apprenticeships, vocational training, or employment opportunities.
* Crisis Management: Handle challenging situations effectively, using de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe environment.
* Collaboration: Work with social workers, mental health specialists, and other professionals to deliver holistic and integrated care.
* Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records, care plans, and risk assessments in line with regulatory standards.
* Community Engagement: Encourage participation in volunteering, civic activities, and recreational opportunities to promote inclusion and a sense of belonging.

Requirements

* LIVE-IN or SHIFT CYCLE.
* For Live-in- Should be able to commit to at least 2 days live -ib, but 1 week live-in rotations consisdered.
* A genuine passion for supporting young people and mental health advocacy.
* Relevant experience in mental health, residential care, or supported living settings.
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent (desirable).
* Enhanced DBS clearance (required).
* ELIGIBILITY TO WORK IN THE UK REQUIRED-Sorry we dont have sponsor licences
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding practices and mental health support frameworks.
* First Aid certification (desirable).
* Full UK driving licence (essential for transporting young people).
* Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts when required.
* Ability to lone working (required)
* Excellent communication, empathy, and resilience.
* Willingness to undertake additional training, including progression to Deputy Registered Manager roles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 48 per week
