Cloud Infrastructure Architect
Location: Maidstone Area, Kent
Salary: Up to £85,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (35 hours per week)
About the Role:
We're seeking a skilled and hands-on Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join a dynamic technology team. This is a key role in shaping and delivering enterprise-level architecture solutions that support ambitious technology goals.
What You'll Do:
As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect, you will:
* Collaborate with architecture and technology teams on governance and design standards.
* Partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver strategic solutions architecture.
* Develop and maintain an integrated view of technology architecture using industry-standard frameworks and repeatable approaches.
* Lead technology assessments and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
* Provide consultancy and design support for internal projects.
* Drive maturity improvements within the architecture function.
* Own and maintain domain architecture standards.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in technology architecture and governance within enterprise-scale environments.
* Strong understanding of technology project life cycles and software delivery processes.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
* Technical expertise in:
* Cloud: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, M365, Azure, Cloud Security, Azure DevOps
* Applications: .NET, MS Dynamics, SQL Server, SSRS, M365 Apps, Exchange, SharePoint, IIS, Apache
* Security: OWASP, Firewalls, ISO27001, Azure Security Benchmark, Microsoft Defender, zScaler
* Networking: Switches, Firewalls, ExpressRoute, MPLS, Routing Protocols, CASB, Azure FrontDoor
* Servers: VMware, Windows Server (), Linux
* SDLC: Azure DevOps, IaC, Terraform
* Familiarity with TOGAF principles.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with financial systems is a plus.
