We are seeking a commercially driven Marketplace Manager to oversee and grow our presence across multiple online marketplaces. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with Shopify and eBay, alongside Amazon expertise that includes agency‑style account management and performance optimisation.
A key part of this role involves working within a Shopify‑led ecosystem, using apps and integrations to manage and distribute listings across multiple marketplaces.
Responsibilities
* Manage and optimise product listings across Shopify and eBay (primary platforms)
* Work within a multi‑app Shopify environment, using integrations to distribute and manage listings across marketplaces
* Oversee product feeds, listing synchronisation, and data accuracy across all channels
* Troubleshoot and resolve listing, feed, or integration issues across platforms
* Oversee and develop the Amazon channel, including account health, performance, and growth strategy
* Apply agency‑style account management practices to Amazon, including:
* Performance monitoring (Buy Box, conversion, rankings)
* Managing cases and liaising with Amazon Seller/Vendor support
* Coordinating campaigns, promotions, and content updates
* Lead and support marketplace activity, both directly and via the eCommerce team, across platforms including TikTok Shop, OnBuy, Faire, Tesco Marketplace, and Yimbly. Analyse marketplace data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
* Own pricing, promotions, and stock alignment across all channels
* Produce regular reports and insights for senior stakeholders
* Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, operations, and finance teams
Skills
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in eCommerce or marketplace management
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
* Strong hands‑on experience with:
* Amazon (essential – including account management experience)
* Experience working with Shopify apps, integrations, or feed management tools
* Strong understanding of how product data flows from Shopify into external marketplaces
* Ability to troubleshoot integration, feed, and listing issues independently
* Experience working in or alongside an Amazon agency environment OR managing Amazon accounts with a structured, performance‑led approach
* Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions
* Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data analysis)
* Strong commercial mindset with a focus on revenue growth and profitability
* Experience with TikTok Shop, OnBuy, Faire, Tesco Marketplace, or Yimbly
* Familiarity with Amazon advertising (PPC) and content optimisation (A+ content)
* Experience using marketplace management platforms or feed tools
