RKW is now looking to add to our Merchandising team – If you're a current or previous Graduate Merchandiser / Junior Merchandiser looking for a step up, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Merchandising Managers to learn the business and the key aspects of the product category, with further professional training and development available.
We are also open to hiring this role at a Junior level, for people who already have previous exposure to operational administration – with experience in a variety of Microsoft Excel functions a key advantage (lookups / pivot tables etc).
We'd welcome applications from people in the retail / distribution sector with a working knowledge of sales data / stock control administration.
The position will involve working alongside Sales and Purchasing and you will work closely with customers to maximise sales whilst ensuring stock levels are controlled.

Responsibilities and Duties
* Liaising with customers and the sales team and analysing their forecast requirements
* Monitoring sales and forecast and adjusting as required
* Predicting sales volume using order history
* Managing levels and distribution of stock to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time
* Moving of orders to satisfy demand/capture overstocking
* Considering MOQ's and lead times to ensure appropriate levels of availability
* Communicating any delays to relevant department
* Assessing sales performance of ranges, identify patterns and implement action plans to minimise risks
* Suggesting and raising stock orders where required
* Working closely with key stakeholders and external Sales Force
* Visits to customer premises as per the needs of the business
* Re-forecast, manage, buy and cancel product where required
* Prepare and present action plans to clear and maintain dormancy levels
Experience and Skills
* A good understanding of Microsoft Office Pack Applications and strong in Excel and PowerPoint
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in your work
* A team player who thrives in a fast paced, busy and challenging environment
* To be organised and be able to prioritise workload to deliver tasks in a timely manner
