Nursery Room Leader Level 3 - 40 Hours - Up to £30,300 You will lead a vibrant room, delivering the activities and lessons that blend EYFS and child‑led play, and support children as their learning environments evolve towards more structured pre‑school routines. The nursery is based in a converted house with age‑specific rooms equipped with play furniture and a broad range of educational resources. Outdoor learning is built into the day, with a large garden and playground.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a room team to deliver high‑quality EYFS practice
* Plan and deliver a balanced mix of child‑led and adult‑led learning
* Oversee room routines, transitions, and daily organisation
* Monitor and record children’s development and progress
* Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and hygiene standards are met
* Communicate with parents and support smooth transitions between rooms
Qualifications
* Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
* Recent experience leading a room or team in a nursery setting
* Proven room leadership experience in a nursery setting
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development stages
* Ability to lead staff, maintain room standards, and manage daily operations
Desirable
* Paediatric First Aid certification
