Join our Strategic Planning Team and help shape Oxfordshire's future. We're looking for a skilled Senior Principal Planner to provide support to the NSIP Principal Planner as the County Council inputs into four Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects.
About the Role
* Negotiate and monitor Planning Performance Agreements.
* Work with the NSIP Principal Planner in liaising with applicants during the pre-application stage of NSIP development to ensure the County's strategic priorities are reflected in their design and mitigation.
* Enable officers through the wider organisation throughout NSIP examinations.
* Provide high level technical advice to partners, developers, district councils and internal teams.
* Enable and mentor Strategic Planners within the team.
About you
* Planning experience including EIA Development.
* Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
* Positive working with senior officers, Members and external partners.
* Previous experience with NSIPs desirable.
