Job Description
As a core member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for leading pre‑ and post‑contract commercial activities and ensuring robust processes across each project. Responsibilities include:
3. Managing subcontract procurement, measurement, valuation, and contractual administration
4. Supporting and promoting strong Health & Safety standards through regular reviews and compliance monitoring
5. Leading valuations, cashflow management, and monthly reporting (including CVRs, procurement updates, and progress reporting)
6. Working closely with project teams to optimise procurement strategies, production efficiency, and commercial outcomes
7. Building and maintaining positive working relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
8. Supporting the development and performance of the commercial team
The Successful Applicant
A successful Project/Quantity Surveyor should have:
9. Strong knowledge of construction methods, measurement, and valuation
10. Experience in subcontract procurement and familiarity with NEC contracts (preferred)
11. Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to drive cost control and maximise value
12. Confidence in engaging with clients, PQS teams, design consultants, and the supply chain
13. A proactive, collaborative, and solutions‑oriented approach
