The Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) network stretches across the UK. We work alongside our partners to help protect the public and our national security by preventing, deterring and investigating terrorist activity.
The Role
As a Detective Sergeant within CTPWM, you'll lead a team of dedicated and highly trained investigators reporting to the Senior Investigating Officer. You'll be responsible for overseeing and directing the gathering and developing of intelligence in line with the National Intelligence Model, together with gathering evidence in relation to investigations into criminal and or extremist behaviour/activities and terrorism related offences. This includes participating in oversight and direction of arrests, interviews and processing of suspects in accordance with the relevant criminal legislation.
Management of TACT convicted offenders and those posing a terrorist risk is also a part of this role.
It is essential that you are a substantive Detective Sergeant possessing proven investigatory experience in complex investigations and evidence of strong leadership qualities.
