This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Account Executive or Senior Insurance Broker to join a well-established branch, become part of the leadership team, and contribute to the company's future growth. The Role
As the Account Executive / Associate Director for Commercial Insurance, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and expanding commercial client accounts, both new and existing, to provide tailored commercial insurance solutions.
2. Working closely with clients to understand their requirements and providing comprehensive professional insurance advice across various sectors.
3. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary contact for all insurance-related matters.
4. Handling the selling, processing, and administration of new contracts, renewals, and MTAs.
5. Liaising and negotiating with underwriters to identify suitable insurance products for clients.
6. Conducting regular policy reviews and identifying opportunities for coverage improvement or premium savings.
7. Negotiating renewals and new business to meet targets and ensure excellent client outcomes.
8. Providing advice on risk management and industry trends.
9. Staying informed about industry developments and regulatory changes to offer accurate advice.
10. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction.
11. Supporting the wider team with subject matter expertise.
About You
* Experience in commercial insurance as a Senior Insurance Broker, Account Handler, Account Executive, or Director.
* Deep knowledge of the commercial insurance industry and its products.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building lasting relationships with clients and insurers.
* Ability to manage a diverse client portfolio and handle multiple priorities effectively.
* Insurance qualifications (CII or equivalent) are desirable.
* Working knowledge of insurance software (Acturis preferred but not essential).
