Our client is a young adult university student currently studying Film, TV and Digital Production at Bath Spa University. They are seeking a team of caring individuals to support daily living and academic needs. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact in a young adult’s life.
Job Details
* Start: ASAP
* Hours: Live in 7 days on / 7 days off
* Location: Bath Spa University (term time), Somerset (off term)
* Pay: £180 per shift (≈£1,260 per week)
* Holidays: 5.6 weeks pro‑rated
* Training: Bespoke training provided for client’s requirements
* Driving licence: Full clean driving licence required
Key Responsibilities
* Personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting, including use of splints
* Health care: administering medication, using medical equipment, physiotherapy support
* Mobility support: help getting around, driving the client’s adapted vehicle, assistance with water activities (swimming, water exercise)
* Daily living: house‑keeping, cooking, laundry, cleaning
* Academic support: note‑taking, liaising with staff, typing, checking comprehension, advocating for the client in group work
* Social support: accompany the client to events, clubs, cinema, theatre, museums and other activities

* Punctual and respectful of privacy
* Good sense of humour
* Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to undergo background checks

Training and development will be provided. Full training in the client’s specific needs, on‑call support from the client coordinator team, and the opportunity to work closely with a young adult student.
