We are looking for a Sample Management Supervisor to join our shipping and logistics team within our Sample Management department in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
Job Responsibilities Include
* Supervising the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring the development of a competent workforce and managing workload balance.
* Coordinating and monitoring progress to ensure achievement of timelines and goals.
* Being accountable for the activities of the team, communicating issues to management and taking corrective action where appropriate.
* Ensuring the consistent implementation, use and review of SOPs.
* Monitoring and track department activities and resources.
* Tracking, monitoring, and reporting metrics in the agreed upon timelines.
* Monitoring individual performance objectives for direct reports, taking corrective action where required. Completing team performance evaluations and interim progress reviews.

Educated to degree level – can be substituted for experience
Experience
* Experience working within a regulated environment
* Supervisory experience is preferred but not essential. Experience of managing a workflow/process can be substituted for people leadership experience.
