Administrator £27,000 Livingston We Do What We Say and We Care That’s why we need people like you to help us deliver on our promises. People who enjoy getting things done and who appreciate their role in helping others to be successful. We could not achieve our work without the dedicated support of our office-based administration and planning teams. The Role: Are you an experienced administrator looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced and engaging environment? We have an excellent opportunity to join our team, where your organisational skills and attention to detail will play a key role in supporting operational delivery. Here are some of the activities you will be involved in: Communicating with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries and understand priorities. Monitoring work output from start to finish, ensuring progress is regularly recorded and communicated. Following established administrative processes, such as updating systems or inputting data for management reporting. Acting as the first point of contact for operations colleagues, helping to provide resolutions to any issues. We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following: You should have experience working in a busy environment where you’ve needed to assess situations and make decisions under pressure. A strong administrative background is essential, and any experience within a planning or utilities setting would be a real advantage. Excellent IT skills—particularly in Microsoft Office—are important, as is the ability to manage and prioritise your workload effectively. Knowledge of NRSWA (New Roads and Street Works Act) would be beneficial, especially if combined with experience of streetworks systems or processes. Above all, we’re looking for someone proactive, organised, and comfortable adapting to changing priorities. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
