Job Description
Provide support to learners and teachers by undertaking a range of non-teaching duties, including classroom administration and practical tasks such as contributing to the preparation of teaching materials. Assist with the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council's key objectives, specifically related to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.
Requirements
The duties of this post involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member for Regulated Work with these groups, or if already a member, to undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update before a formal offer of employment is made. PVG records are continually updated, and any relevant information disclosed will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual
There are 2 temporary, part-time, term-time positions based at Drongan Primary School, Drongan.
Hours: 27.5 hours per week, as directed by the Line Manager.
The positions are temporary until 26 June 2026.
Salary: Between £24,333 - £25,353 per annum (full-time). The part-time, term-time equivalent salary ranges from £16,398 - £17,085 per annum.
